30 Minutes of Idleness

I got off the train, finally.. after a journey that I'd define as long, on all dimensions. The intermittent stops certainly didn't help the cause. It was one ride too many for me.. I began to walk towards the fading light, without a thought in my head. Every now and then I skipped a step on my path.. no idea why.. I just did it.. much in the same way I don't know why I kept on walking without crossing the road. Any other day, I'd have crossed over to the other side.. but not on this day. It was too predictable.. I felt the urge to escape that aura of inevitability. So I kept on walking, as the blues were banished beyond darkness. Familiar sights caught my attention at times, yet for most of the walk my gaze was set on the skies before me. "Sure is nice to take a walk like this every now and then," I thought to myself.. and before I could get to the end of that thought, I was home.

...... I ENJOYED the walk, and didn't wanna take a bus despite having a Rapid KL all-day ticket I could use. Come to think of it, it really isn't all that far. :p
