To The Capitol

The weather has finally warmed up, though probably a little too much over the last two days. Either way, the city's finally springing to life, but sadly so will the crimes, which means I gotta start being more careful during my strolls outside. I haven't got a job yet, but I believe it's perhaps because God has better things in store. After all, to quote a certain someone's blog title - the good things always take a while.. Optimism? You betcha.'

A little while ago Kwong Hann & I finally made the decision to take another trip - this time to Washington D.C. It's a real budget trip though with cheap flight tickets and hostel accommodation, and not to mention the free admissions to the city's top-notch national museums. Come to think of it - the next time you hear from me on this site I'd probably be there. Other than the museums, I doubt it's really all that exciting, but hey what is 3 years in a country if I don't even visit its capitol? Oh an perhaps if we do run a little thin on entertainment by the time we're done with our trip, we have the option of taking a half-day trip to the historic Philadelphia.

Well, here's me looking forward to that, and more! ;)
