Here's To All Wabbits!

Rejoice, for it is that time of the year again! Happy Chinese New Year everyone. This year is a rather special one for me though, for my zodiac sign happens to be the rabbit! To be honest, I haven't overtly affiliated myself with rabbits even through my childhood (well except for one bunny that goes by the name Bugs), but since it is our year, I figured.. why not join in the fun?

The little online-reading that followed (with all the excess time I have these days.. *shakes head*) was quite interesting. I realized that most descriptions of people born in the Year of the Rabbit fit me pretty well (or at the very least, they describe me in the way I'd like to be described as). Take this one for instance:-

If you know me well enough, you'll see that it really is quite apt, and it extends beyond just those words I've underlined. Hehe. Perhaps I should consider putting my zodiac down on my resume (I kid I kid!).

And naturally at some point I was drawn to the relevant Wiki pages, where I found a few more little surprises.

A good point to start would be the gemstone.. since I was small my favorite has always been aquamarine. Then comes the big one: The roughly equivalent Western sign is Pisces, which I am. Coincidence? Anyway, the season and month (which kinda corresponds to my birthday) kinda go along the same lines as this. Lastly there is the 'ruling countries' (whatever the heck that is supposed to mean..), which my home nation is one of. How bout' that?

Regardless of what any of that really means (if anything at all), I look forward to an excellent year ahead, and wish everyone else the same. :)
