The Weakend

Been long since I walked home from work under sunlit skies.. months to be frank; till yesterday. Ah, but yesterday was a Saturday.. It would seem that my string of 5-day work-weeks had come to an end, but little did I expect to be walking into the office on Sunday as well.

Gone the week, gone the weekend;

A draining streak, as I lay weakened..

Perhaps it was incredible subconscious foresight; perhaps it was purely coincidental luck. Whatever it may have been, I have ended up with the Monday as an off day. I desperately needed the break. Working 12 days straight is unthinkable, at least for now. There is learning - lots of it. Then there is more learning, and it never seems to end. It's an uphill slope - but I won't lose hope.. Hope that these pains be appreciated, and bring forth the gains.
