What Earthquake?

Tickets have been purchased. Finals are coming up pretty soon. Assignments are piling up like mad once again. I'm still on the lookout for an off-campus residence for the Fall semester. I got the Doorguard job for next semester. I love Bleach. There was an earthquake in the Midwest (scored a 5.2 on the Richter scale). Spring is finally here for good. So.. what now?

Hardly another 4 weeks and I'd be back in Kuala Lumpur. No idea how much the city has changed since I left, but shooting a few casual messages on MSN assured me that the people back home are still gems of character. As for the job.. it's really great that I finally landed one here on campus, though it's probably the lamest of all jobs. However.. it leaves me in a slight dilemma with regards to the housing. Doorguards normally have late night shifts too, and if I'm staying off campus, it's really gonna be one creepy walk home, ain't it? Well, I basically came up with the idea of trying to work till dawn whenever I get a late night shift. If this doesn't work out, I'd just stay on at the MSV studying or somethin. After all, I am notorious for being a night owl.

The earthquake, as some of you may have read of by now, happened during the wee hours in the morning. The best part... I was wide awake in front of my PC, and I didn't feel a single thing. Earthquakes are not really the norm here.. and somewhere deep within me, I'm actually hoping I did feel something.. at least a slight tremor or a jerk (Come on! People all the way out at Atlanta felt it!)

Feels great to get back in touch with high school friends through Facebook. Gonna feel even greater actually meeting up with some of em' and catching up on things over a cup of tea/coffee (Starbucks anyone? :p) Ok.. so that's about it for this post. Sorry.. nothing spectacular, nothing special. Yet, I am gonna be posting a random quote at the end of each blog from here on. So yea.. here's a starter.. heh.
