United In Malaysia!

After a long wait, I finally got more than a glimpse of the Manchester United players who came down for their Asian tour - I watched them live against a Malaysian XI. Their play though was below expectations, as the best moment of the match was Malaysia's first goal, a beauty-chip above a clueless van der Sar. Regardless, the atmosphere at the Bukit Jalil stadium was amazing. From the occasional applause to the 'oohs' and 'aahs' (not to mention the Wave!), I enjoyed every bit of it. I also got a chance to put my Canon Powershot's IS and Ultrazoom to the test (and late in the match it's low-light performance). I attended the training on Friday and the actual match on the following afternoon. However, I decided to turn down the chance to watch them again since the match in Jakarta was cancelled due to the recent bomb blasts. 'Twas already more than enough for me..
